Viva La Vida

Good song by Coldplay. Just throwing that out there. I got some email from Ticketmaster saying that they’re coming through the Verizon Center and I can bid on tickets to see them, but that’s money I kind of don’t want to take from my Miata fund.Apple is still an awesome time. I sold an iMac the other day to this guy and his wife. They initially came in looking for a Mac Mini. That was cool, but I was way nervous because selling Macs is not what Concierge are supposed to do, and even though Eric okayed it …

I’m not really sure what to write, since my summer is quickly becoming mundane. No, not mundane… that sounds bad. It’s becoming routine. Fortunately, my routine is one that I like quite a bit.Apple is still splendiferous. I’m finally getting to know some of my coworkers. Who knows, once we know each other better, I may end up hanging out with some of them before/after work and stuff. We’re not so much coworkers as a bunch of Mac-heads who all hang out at a store and enlighten people. I think that’s such a statement about how …

Apple!

I’ve survived my first two days at Apple. Survived probably isn’t the best word for it, since it’s kind of an awesome job.I’m a Concierge – on first glance, they kind of seem to be a younger version of the WalMart greeters. I was curious as to what my job was really gonna be like, and if I’d enjoy it or not. Well… Concierge is SO much more and I’m enjoying it a ton. Basically, we greet people, get them where they need to be (with a specialist, Genius Bar appointment, etc), answer the phones, manage the employee …

I start work tomorrow. Well, technically later today. Fair Oaks, 12-9. It’s going to pay really well, so I hope it’s a fun job. Should be, based on the employees I’ve met so far. I’m just glad that I have something to do. Being home with nothing to do isn’t fun.I went on a run today. It ended up being more of a run, then heave, then walk, then do-it-all-over. Clearly UREC and I were not in amicable standing for the last month or so of school. I gotta stay remotely “in-shape” this summer though, just so I …

Puddles

It’s raining outside. That’s kind of an understatement though, considering the intensity (anywhere from misting to torrential) and the fact that it’s been steadily going since about 4 PM. I like it though, as do my allergies. I was just getting used to the nice, warm weather though…Anyway, I’ve been home for just about a week. It feels like two. At least I’ve had things to do the past few days, otherwise my life would have been pretty boring. Hannah and I got the Malone dance thing all done as of Saturday night. I really do like working …
