such command of the English language:

Sad thing is, some of these people are U.S. citizens. And they vote.

McCain ‘08!!

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

Haha, just kidding. I already voted – I’m one of 17 at JMU who managed to complete the absentee process properly – and it was for the people with the little (D) next to their name. Three of them actually came to JMU yesterday, which was phenomenal!

That would be one Barack Obama, Mark Warner, and Tim Kaine is in there too.

I waited with some people – Jillian, Susan, Chi, Kimmy, Adam, Lucy, and Justin – for about 4 hours or so to get into the Convo. Somehow, people who arrived earlier than …

Hahaha. Haha.

Sarah Palin is such an idiot. I hope she and McCain don’t get elected, because if they do, and he dies… she’s up to bat. Not cool man.

Creative

Sunday, October 19th, 2008

Thanks to Jenny Kelly and some cool website:

1. Creative individuals have great physical energy, but they become extremely quiet when they are at rest. This restful period can lead others to think that they are not feeling well or that they are unhappy, when the truth is they are fine.

2. Creative folks tend to be both highly intelligent and naive at the same time.

3. Creative people are disciplined and playful simultaneously. In some creative people, this can mean that they are responsible and irresponsible at the same time as well.

4. Creative minds move between a spectrum of fantasy …

Best [weekend] I Ever Had

Sunday, October 19th, 2008

Maybe not best, but it’s been fun so far.

Chi’s birthday is tomorrow, officially, but we sorta celebrated early. She gathered about 30 people and we played capture the flag on the quad last night. Tons of fun there, and a few odd looks and laughs from passers-by. I almost got the flag. Almost. Then I got tackled… I had a choice between the brick path or the frozen grass. I chose to dive at the grass – probably a wise move. I’m still über-sore, though, and my right knee hurts a bit. Interesting, considering how I fell on my left side.

Today …

What a weekend…

Sunday, October 12th, 2008

It was a whirlwind, that’s for sure. I was home this weekend mainly to shoot photography at Kathy Sack’s daughter’s bat mitzvah, which was Saturday.

I got home around lunch time on Friday and met mom and dad at Sweetwater. Yummmm. Then it was off to Stone Bridge for the homecoming parade, to Cat’s for dinner, and back to SBHS for the football game. The game was boring in itself (38-0 shutout) but it was great to see people who I haven’t seen in forever. The marching band is a bit lacking, but it was still good to see the people …

Pictorz

Sunday, October 5th, 2008

Some cool stuff, from my phone camera. I think phone cams are starting to become the Polaroid of “my generation.” Either way, we can’t let the Polaroid die… it’s too classic!

Three Mac laptops in one room, aka the closest I get to the Apple Store when I’m at school.

Well, he liked the CDs. It’s a start…

The …

Down on the corner

Saturday, October 4th, 2008

I picked Erns up somewhere along Bruce and S. Main. She called me around 10:45 saying that she had been let out of jail and had no idea how to get from downtown-ish back to campus. I went and picked her up because it’s at least a 30 minute walk back to Chandler from downtown, if not longer. She’s not really upset about the whole thing, aside from having to pay $96 in ‘court costs’ of sorts. It’s a good attitude to keep, if only for the fact that you can’t change what’s already happened. And really, is it so …

Punk in Drublic

Saturday, October 4th, 2008

Kinda shitty night, not gonna lie. Not bad for me, but Erin’s in a different boat. She got arrested for drunk in public – not by JMU PD, but Harrisonburg PD. I guess I have to go get her tomorrow since I’m not in the MRDs (and thus committed) and have a car. She and Susan were drunk in their room and should not have gone out. Anddddd, we left anyway. I’m not sure why exactly.

Susan is a very sloppy drunk. I hope she’s okay because she was crying pretty hard about Erin – no doubt the rum talking quite …

Sarah Palin’s Facebook

Friday, October 3rd, 2008

Hahaha… so good. The debate tonight was interesting. She didn’t fall *completely* on her face as many had expected. However, I get a kick out of politicians who don’t answer the questions asked of them at the debates! Biden did a phenomenal job, and it was my first time listening to him speak. Call me impressed.
