No iPocalypse here

I am finally laying in bed after a combined 15-hour shift. In all, it was a great day… nothing like the “iPocalypse” of last year with the 3G launch. We were far better organized this year. No servers crashed, the calls to AT&T were minimal, and morale was high.

I woke up at 4:30, parked at 5:30 amidst some folks waiting in cars for mall doors to open, was let in by a security guard, and punched in around 5:38. The line was formed at 6, and we opened for business at 7. Us orange-shirted folk took care of the lines …


The Facts.

These are all little, nit-picky things that have come up in the past week or so at work. None of them are really Apple-specific, so I could call the post something like “How to Live Life 101″ or “Shopping 101″ – but since they have all taken place at work, the title stays.
